“Kwa George” single has made itself a brand not just a hit song. The single comes from B1’s album called “show me your money ” released in 2019. The creativity used from composing to production. Has just left people hooked to the melody. From the popularity of this single. There is a possibility that B1’s show is possibly going to be one of the hottest. Hence having a chance to step on the stage at this event is a bonus and a big chance to show the country what you got.
Therefore upcoming Afro reggae Dancehall artist Brinnah and rapper Toria have been revealed as B1’s curtain raisers at Kasungu Culture Club on 8 September.
The “Kwa George” hit maker is set to perform a series of shows in Lilongwe and Kasungu.
According to the Kasungu show organizers GNG International and Climax Entertainment, the “Kwa George” hype will be used to expose upcoming artists to a wider audience.
“Apart from the Zambian star, Brinnah and Toria will also rub shoulders with Malawi’s Dancehall artist Don Tarz, Bianca, King Chambieko,” GNG International and Climax Entertainment events manager, Beatrice Saidi.
She added: “We are focusing on promoting local talents especially female artists. We have noticed that female artists face so many challenges since the entertainment industry is male dominated.”
24 year old, Brinnah Issat simply known as Brinnah who started recording in 2014, expressed her excitement, describing performing alongside B1 as “a great achievement”.
On the other hand, 23 year old rapper Toria, real name Thandiwe Mulolo described the development as a dream come true.
Toria, who is also a sister to renowned rapper Mwanache has recently released “Sangapange” music video while Brinnah is currently working on her debut mixtape.
