Practically new wine in old wineskins ruins the new wine but not in music where new songs are mixed with old songs and the output is superb and you should check out Jaisa ‘s Wako ndi Wako.

Current music charms are spiced by past music antics, and this is what Jaisa and Slyc have done in the song wako ndi wako a spark of new wine in old skin. Wako ndi wako which was originally done by Stanley Nyandolo Nthenga has been adapted to fit the current taste of vocals and style.

The chorus which has been done by Zomba based artist and producer Slyc brings the memories of the original wako ndi wako by Nthenga which was a household tune in the early 2000s. We consulted the original owner of the song before adapting it because the intellectual property is his, said Jaisa.

The song captures the souls in love and makes them to be happy with the partner they have. It encourages lovers to hold unto each other in high esteem and respect. The beat was done by special Dee and it was recorded at Heatwave Records.

Jaisa real name Wilson Mhango started his music journey in 2014 in Kasungu his home village. He was featured in two Mzuzu University cyphers during his school days, the video which has been triggered by positive feedback of the audio. Shot by 24Flame, the video is rich in colour and story line. The quality of the production gives an impression of the future of Jaisa in music.

Asked on why he decided to adapt another song instead of creating a new one, Jaisa claimed the adaption is an appreciation of the masterpiece which was a hit song when they were young. “l had to rework on it because the concept of love was well tackled in it, l had to flip back on it with a different style and lyrical content matching the love and expectations of the society today, the beat is a fusion of Afro and Hip Hop. It’s a dance tune provoking lovers to ignore what other people perceive about their choice of a partner, said the Finale hit maker.

The production is a step towards his debut album “To whom it may concern” which will be released next year. Jaisa has made headlines on social media with his Tienayo Tienayo T-SHIRTS which are selling like hot cake. The brand of Tienayo Tienayo is like a wakeup call to everyone who lives to hustle hard, think fast and make moves in life. Jaisa is set work with Ghatta and Epidodes in the course of his albulm. Jaisa is based in Lilongwe. He graduated from Mzuzu University in 2019.
