The music star, Cozizwa , whose real name is Miracle Ndonani is back with his third track of year 2020 , titled ” Ngiyabonga ” in which he features Kelvin sings .
The song shall be out on 21 September and will be available on local and international music website including spotify , mikozi ,Malawi Music and many more.
In an interview Cozizwa disclosed that “ngiyabonga” is Zulu word which means “thanks you”, and it explains about thanking God even in the darkest times.
” it’s track that shows gratefulness over all blessings that have come our way ” ,he said .
Cozizwa who also produced the song at his studio named zozizwa wide, said he come up with concept of song after seeing how Malawi and he has struggled in 2020.
” I wrote this song in a period of strife (2020) where all we see around us is pain, economic crises, disease, business declines, unemployment and the just ended politics situation.

“In that moment, i was challenged to focus on what the good Lord has actually blessed me with instead of all that is around us”, he added .
Cozizwa pointed out that song encourages people to focus on the blessings they still have even through times of trouble and possible destruction.
In his remarks, Kelvin zalimba who is known in music circles as Kelvin sings described the song as elegant. ” It’s a great track. I loved working with Cozizwa on this project. Listeners should expect nothing, but the best”, he said.
Cozizwa revealed that the duo is delighted to create music video for the track.
“I’m expecting more from this song. There is a lot we are doing. We want to push it. Well Will even do a music video”, he said.
Cozizwa promised fans more fireworks in next projects.
” I will give you more music both this year and next year”, he said
