Wikise Embarks On Giving Back to the Community

Wikise cares about his fans. He doesn’t just talk the talk, a Chinsapo native hit single architect actually walks the talk by giving back to the community. The singer has  now embarked on a project to donate basic needs to floods victims in Salima.

As a passionate singer who has attained so much success finally thinks of appreciating the support rendered by the society towards his music, Wikise, decorated by his fans as Habusa has put himself on a very critical task to source food and clothes in order to assist people affected by heavy down pour and floods in Salima.

“Lilongwe team Wikise, I was thinking to donate some items to Salima floods victims, I will give them some of my unused clothes and some groceries,,,” ; posted Wikise on his Facebook page.

On Wednesday, 23rd February, Habusa made another announcement appealing to well wishers to join forces with him to make the project more sounding.

Upon the announcement, two companies joined the ‘Siti’ hit maker, promised to work with him on the project. As of yesterday, Wikise was moving across areas of Lilongwe, asking for donations, a mission that went on successful.

Some renowned social activist, Joramu Kampepuza, has praised the gesture by Wikise for using his influential platform for positive change in societies.

“Well, most of our new generation artist are focusing on sex, drug and other bad trends life styles, having one or some of them standing up for the needy is actually soul soothing” Kampepusa said to our reporter.

“We wish him well with this and many other to come projects.”

Meanwhile, Wikise has this morning left off to Salima to present the donations.

Some social media users have asked the artist to be more transparent and accountable to gain the trust of more companies and other well wishers.
