Music lovers in Lilongwe where uplifted over the weekend at Lifest, an event which took place at The Lilongwe Golf club
and was up for 2 days from Friday to Saturday. The event Brought home big names in music. Among them were Nigeria’s
Celebrated singer Joeboy, Shekhina singer-songwriter from Durban, South Africa. also graced the event. Above everything Jamaica’s raggea icon Chris Martin made sure that those attending the event went home smiling with his outstanding stage
performance.

Fans are now appreciating to what they call an amazing showpiece. The ‘Cheaters player’ hit maker made sure that they were no gaps left in audiences expectations as his live performance lifted hearts of
many and left the mood ablaze, as he left the stage. meanwhile social media has complained that Joeboy did his best but
as well, it was unfortunate since that the ‘Call’ hit maker used records for his stage performance and as other attendees puts it ‘he was not as good as they expected’.

Other local acts that graced the stage were among others Don Tarz, Blasto, Quest, Martse, The Black Missionaries, Janta, Faith Mussa, Patience Namadingo and many others. People were surprised to see Joseph Mkasa appearing as a surprise artist, were he performed two songs leaving fans begging for more from the veteran.
