Rapper singer and songwriter Classick known for hit singles like ‘Anakonda’ as well as ‘TIA’ which was released as a Duo with Hayze under the ‘Home Grown African’ Tag. Feels, they’re no excuses to the steady decline in his music career’s
lifetime graph. The rapper thinks his own lack of focus as well as setups behind the curtains are some of the major blocks he has faced on his road, weighing him down to a level he has attained at the moment.
A few years back 2012 – 2015 Yankho Classick Zulu with his colleague Hayze Engola surprised Malawi with the Raw rap, that was comprised of clever lyricism, punchlines, wordplays and energetic delivery a style that made music more enjoyable
and appealing even to the world beyond Malawi. The two started well with some endorsements making headway, among others the ‘Coca-Cola deal’ which saw the Home Grown African touring Malawi.
Fast forward the two moved separate ways, Home grown the rising tower was now falling apart until there was nothing left but ashes. Today the two are pushing but each on there own ‘solo’ , to say the truth non of them has reached their full
potential since then. This has resulted into fans worrying for the lost gold, hence there has been concerns now and then making rounds on social media.
Recently a twitter user had to tweet that ‘Classick was supposed to be the biggest Rapper in this country. “I think about this a lot and it pains me!!'” This saw a retweet from Classick admitting to the fact that, lack of Focus and setups behind curtain resulted into him loosing track. yet he was quick to mention that “no excuses” proving he has learned from his mistakes.
Meanwhile in another interesting twist of things the rapper promises his fans of more content saying he, from today dedicates himself on an upcoming album project, which he has not named yet.
