Skappa is one of the most talented Dvj’s in the country. He has vast experience in the industry. He has perfomed in the top clubs in the country.
He has hosted all the Big brother home coming parties across the country courtesy of multi choice Malawi . He was once on the main stage at Lake of stars music festival in 2005 and 2006.
He has performed alongside Dj Tira, Big Nuzz, Dj Waxy, Dj Mukambo the list goes on and on.
Skappa dvj has 19 years of experience in the industry. He was once introduced into the field at the age of 12 by his brother. Who used to take him to his work place (radio station) after school.
The inspiration stimulated interest in him. Hence he started learning on his own at home using an old audio cassette radio. Then he went to Maputo Mozambique in 2005 for further studies. In Dj’ing and sound training.
He says most Malawian Dj’s haven’t yet discovered the quality of being a good Dj and most of them venture into the field only because they have acquired the equipment.
He says he always had a dream to share his experience with veterans and upcoming Dj’s but he was held back by financial hiccups.
“But with the little that I have now, I will do this and fathom the level of Dj’ing in the country”. He explained to our reporter.
Youth in Malawi upon completing secondary education they end up stranded. Not knowing what to do yet they have talents. Which if nurtured can help them in sustaining their economic growth.
So this is a creative idea that is solving the problem of unemployment in our society. If one discovers interest in these fields look nowhere else. It’s only available at Skappa DJ academy.
