After 3 month long wait Akadaulo has bounced back with album titled ” Mingoli ” which has been released yesterday.
This album comes after a song titled Nkhondo dropped in September, in which he had featured Tegwa, Di Mantis and Mizzy.
Akadaulo, real name name, Brivin Chilingulo has eraborated that he was giving much time and efforts on album hence the silence.
” Patience is vitual in arts as it allows perfection. So I needed to take longer before coming up with such huge project, ” he said.
Akadaulo says before coming up with idea of album , he was working on releasing Extended play (EP) , but he later changed his mind to do an album after advise from collugues.
” After recording two songs ( namely: Chikombole, and Zikomo ) I realized that the project was huge and it required to be an album . Some people had also advised me to extend the EP into album. Hence the move,” he said.
The concept of the album is derived from real life events and the album which has a catalogue of 11 tracks has songs including Freedom , Chikondi, Dala, Chikombole, and Many more.
The album has only two collaborations, in which he has featured the multi talented artist, Tegwa.
“I didn’t feature big names like way my fellow artists do with their albums because I want to make my album unique”he said.
However, he was quick to say that the album is meant for his fans , who are hungry for his masterpieces. On other side of coin, it is a devotion towards environmental sustainability.
” The album is dedicated to FANTAH ( Fight Against Threat Among Human) project. So whatever that I get from the album wil be used to buy trees , other things to sustain the environment”, he said.
The album has been mastered and produced by Tegwa, Di Mantis , and Akadaulo at M’bebe Studio. The beats of the album were crafted by DJ sley , Akadaulo beats, Crack Mapiri , and Rasco on the beat.
Akadaulo has described his album as exceptional and has since called for support.
” I have been working on this album for a long time , it’s something that people would love it ; it has quality of content and well compiled.
“All what I ask the general public is to support the album up to the optimum.”, he said.
