Lilongwe, 20 .The HD plus creations have reveal that Malawians should expect the first ever Cinema film in titled Fastani which is going to be launch in Lilongwe on 30 April 2021 at BICC.
Speaking with Malawi news on Friday at Crown Hotel in Lilongwe Sukezi who is Chief Executive Officer at Hd plus creations said People a cross the Country should expect to watch the first ever cinema film produced by Malawians.
The movie of Fastani was supposed to be realised in September this year but because of Covid -19 and financial hiccups the launch has been shifted to 30 April 2021.
The launch of Fastani Film will also attract international Artist which has made us to shift to April next to give our guest time since many airports are closed.
The story about Fastani movie is talking a bout a girl child who was forced by her parents to go to the market to start selling mandasi after her school was closed because of corruption.
Later own the girl faces different kind of a buses instead of being protected by the elders at the marker as time goes Fastani stand out and say no to child labour and abuse and she become a hero.
The movie is also talking more about real life, corruption ,child labour and gender based violence that is happening in the country.
We hope that this movie is going to help people to change their mind set especially on child labour ,child abuse and corruption as these cases are on the rise he said
We have plans that every Malawian has been given a chance to watch this film in every corner of Malawi so that people should watch and appreciate the movie which is locally produced and shoot by Malawians
So far the movie has cost as over 40 Million kwacha but the coast is likely to increase due to other expenditure.
