Budding model Monalisa Kafuwa has been revealed as the second contestant at this year’s Miss Pan African Queen pageant scheduled to take place in Ghana.
Miss Pan African Queen President Trendy Isaac confirmed the development after voting closed on Saturday, 25th July,
According to Isaac, the voting process was fair and competitive.
“Malawi has two contestants namely Monalisa Kafuwa and Trimmie Chitedze. We congratulate them and wish them all the best,” Isaac said.
23 year old Monalisa lives in Chinsapo, Lilongwe.
She has participated in Dzaleka Cultural Fashion Show, Wedding Expo, Mzuzu Fashion Week, Beautiful Africa Fashion Show and Glam and Glory Beauty Pageant.
Her role models are Naomi Campbell and Priyanka Chopra.
Commenting on the news, she said, “I am greatful and happy to represent Malawi at Miss Pan African Queen. Thanks to everyone who took their time to vote for me until the end of the voting.
“I’m really glad and excited about this since it will help me achieve my advocacy and if it wasn’t for those who voted for me then I would have not make it today,.”
